linkcheck.module is a robotic application which works its way through a website, checking all internal and external links found on the site to ensure that these links are reachable.

linkcheck.module carefully obeys the "robot exclusion rules" standards of the Internet, which control what areas of a web-site are searchable and has a configurable delay for multiple request to a server, so it is a "well-behaved" robot and unlikely to cause offence to the web site owners and administrators.
